All icons on these pages have been formatted as 100 x 100 pixel .jpg images, for use on livejournal, most bulletin boards, and other avatar-happy corners of the net. At this time, I have no plans to make larger images, but if there is sufficient interest, I might be convinced to do some larger ones. Why a pulp icon collection? Pulp magazines represented the seedy underbelly of the "Leave It To Beaver" America of the mid-20th century, exposing the real beast that dwelt inside every car salesman and skirted housewife. Pulp of yesterday reflects the reality of today, as well, with that extra touch of vintage zing. Plus, the art and titles are just plain awesome. There's something for everybody.

If you are a fan of pulp, you know that there are a few main themes within the genre. I have organized the collection into several categories below. Browse each one until you find the icon that is just right for you. It's out there somewhere.
